The SIDD Institute for Data Protection and Data Security was founded in 2017 to meet the growing demand for high-quality data protection consulting. Our focus is on a combination of legal expertise, practice-oriented implementation, and technical know-how. By expanding our team with software developers and consultants, we can react flexibly to new technical requirements in the field of data protection. With a growing team and a strong foothold in the market as a high-quality boutique consultancy in data protection, our range of services has evolved into a full-service provider. Our services include taking on complete data protection & privacy compliance projects and providing support as external data protection officers and technical implementation consulting.

We currently support over 70% of our clients and mandates as external data protection officers. Through several years of cooperation, we offer our clients a short response time and a deep understanding of their business processes. This enables us to grow constantly and meet the increasing demands of the market environment.
As a dynamic company, we work closely with the LegalTech and RegTech sectors. Not least with our own software provider, Priverion Solutions AG. At the beginning of 2020, the DPMS (Data Protection Management System) developed by this company was presented as a SaaS solution. This all-in-one tool makes it possible to implement the necessary data protection processes in compliance with the law in the shortest possible time. Since 2023, the Priverion platform has also been used in the context of information security, e.g. ISO27001, NIS2, or DORA.
