Dominic has been studying European data protection law since 2013 and completed his dissertation on data protection compliance in the cloud with distinction in 2010. As a licensed lawyer in the state of New York (USA) and the United Kingdom (UK), he not only advises on the GDPR and Swiss law, but also in particular in an international context.
As part of his 5 years as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Rolf Weber, Dominic researched a variety of digital topics. In particular, the focus was on data protection law and its application to new technologies such as blockchain. After returning from the USA, Dominic opened SIDD in 2017 as a data protection boutique with the aim of advising medium-sized and international companies holistically on all issues of data protection and information security management. SIDD's services therefore also include technical advice on the implementation of measures.
